| Q: |
HOW DO I GET TO WORK? |
| A: |
In most cases you are transported to and from the work site by Dial-A-Lift. Morningside
supervisors are there when you arrive. In some cases, you may work at different sites. A Morningside supervisor will meet you at the first location and then transport you to the next work location in a Morningside van. At the end of the shift, you will be picked up by Dial-A-Lift and transported home. |

|
| Q |
WILL I BE SAFE? |
| A: |
There is a Morningside supervisor with you at the work location during the entire shift. The work crews are small in size usually less than five individuals per shift. |
|
|
| Q: |
CAN I STAY AT MY WORK LOCATION FOREVER? |
| A: |
Our goal here at Morningside is to prepare you for an individual job within the community. The community group sites are the first steps to having a job in the community. No, you will not be at this work site forever. You will master all the work skills the work location has to offer and then move on to another work site or community employment. |
|
|
| Q: |
WHERE WILL I GO IF THE WORK SITE ENDS? |
| A: |
Unfortunately, you may need to go home for a short time until another work site can be
developed. We will work very hard to find another work site that best suits your needs. |
|
|
| Q: |
WHAT HOURS AND DAYS WILL I WORK? |
| A: |
Not every job works Monday - Friday from 8-5. We work the hours the business needs us to work. Most work shifts are four hours in length and the days of the week are different. |
|
|
| Q: |
DO I WORK ON THE HOLIDAYS? |
| A: |
Some work sites have all the holidays off, other do not. We are working in a business and we must work the days and hours of the other workers. This is what you will need to do when you get a job in the community. |
