REHABILITATION SERVICES
Morningside’s rehabilitation services are provided by the Employment Services Division. More than 500 individuals with disabilities access these services on an annual basis. Structured in three regions – Capital, Southwest and Peninsula – services are provided in seven counties in western Washington.
Although the Division is multi-faceted and geographically diverse, the services provided are individualized and focused on preparing for, securing and maintaining employment opportunities for people with a variety of disabilities and other barriers to employment. In addition, transition services to students with significant disabilities, group supported employment and community access services provide a wide range of supports and activities for participants.
More than 80 professional staff provide employment planning and preparation, job development, training and coaching to ensure each individual achieves his/her employment goals. Staff receives intensive and on-going training focused on person-centered techniques, positive behavior supports, individual choice and advocacy.
As a CARF accredited organization, each individual served, each referring or funding agency is assured that services meet the highest national quality standards and best practices in the field today.
Values-based services are inherent in each program category and geographical location. Respect, dignity and the belief in the rights of all persons to be welcomed and included in the fabric of their communities, drive our rehabilitation services.
We work for our customers as partners, helping develop dreams and often moving ahead to remove obstacles so the road is easier.
