Washington Association of Counties
The Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC) is a non-profit serving all of Washington's 39 counties and includes county commissioners, council members, and executives from every county. WSAC is a recent Employer Partner, but in the short time we've been working with them, we believe they deserve a 2022 Outstanding Employer Award. WASC hired Morningside client, Buqua Pitts, who provided paperwork support for WSAC's meetings during the legislative session. Buqua received excellent support from WSAC and the staff welcomed him as a member of the team. WSAC even found a way to keep Buqua after the legislature adjourned, turning a temporary position into a permanent part-time position! Buqua enjoys his job and the people he works with, feeling like a true member of the team.
